His presence is our priority and seeking after His kingdom is the privilege we’ve been provided access to because of His kindness given first.

Jesus shows us the way we are meant to love one another when he washed the feet of His friends. We choose to follow His example completely as we live the life we are called to in Him.

In every moment, we are presented with the opportunity to choose between ‘’our own way’’ or ‘’His way’’. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding us, we possess the capability, through the Holy Spirit, to rise above those challenges. Embracing this perspective allows us to cultivate joy and maintain inner peace, empowering us to navigate life with choosing joy.

The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

Not just the Father of Jesus, but our Father as well. He is good. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to all of His son’s and daughter’s. God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist.

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the ONLY plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with The Father. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life now.

The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives which may occur in various combinations. They always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters

Biblical Marriage is clearly defined as one man (born a man) united with one woman (born a woman) for life. This covenant is defined by God and instructed directly by Jesus himself which should not be taken lightly or altered to fit personal preference.

When we look at Putnam County, we see a region filled with people who are made to be in a relationship with God and grow in a community of believers making the goodness of Jesus known to the world around them.
Our heart with building River City Church is not just to have church , but to create a space for families and individuals to draw close to God and His people, a place where friends become family.
We pray this becomes a community where you feel encouraged and empowered as you grow in relationship with the Lord and those around you.
